~ CUE SPACE MUSIC ~
Yep, another Marvel movie! Can't get enough of them. And this one is another great one, really.
In terms of cinematography it's a real beauty, because with all the space of shots it gets really vibrant and colourful. And the music, that's only from the 70's and the 80's, really sets up the movie as a more comedy based thing, than for example the X-Men movies.
But that doesn't mean the movie is all laughs. I mean, the first few minutes, where we learn the background of Peter Quill, are quite sad but then it cuts to the title credits and the feel and tone of the movie changes rapidly.

And I guess, those two opening scenes really sets the entire tone for the rest of the movie. Sadness and laughs. Because as I see it, it's a comedy sprinkled with sadness.
But overall it's a fun ride, and yeah Gamora is a babe and my queen, also Groot is adorable.
