Favourite Hanna Marin Outfits

Posted by Unknown at Friday, May 30, 2014 0 comments
If there's a show you watch only because they wear pretty outfits, it should be ABC's Pretty Little Liars. The girls on the show dress to impress even when going for a trek into the forest or while being cyber stalked by a creeper. And one of the main characters who continue to impress me with her wardrobe choices, it's the fabulous Hanna Marin (played by Ashley Benson).

So to take a trip down memory lane inside Hanna's closet, I've found some of my favourite outfits she's worn throughout the four seasons.

Featured in season 3 episode 1; "It Happened That Night"
I just love how she chose the colourful yet classy jacket to spruce up the simple elegant lace dress.
And I like the belt, it adds a nice touch.

Featured in season 3 episode 4; "Birds Of A Feather"
Hanna really has a thing for blazers/jackets and she knows how to work 'em. Even this yellow cute colour. And cute blue-ish shorts. With a simple white tank top. I mean really. It shouldn't work. But it does.

Featured in season 1 episode 4; "The Jenna Thing"
I love mint coloured thing, so her top here is right up my alley. And a skirt that short is only possible if you have legs as hot has Hanna has. And again, her jackets are on point with the cute ruffle thing in the back.

Featured in season 1 episode 6; "There's No Place Like Homecoming"
I don't know what it is, but the feathers do it for me. Fashion wise, that it. and it's such a beautiful colour.

Featured in season 3 episode 6; "The Remains Of The A"
I love crazy pants, and these pants are crazy... fun.
Also cute top.

Featured in season 3 episode 15; "Mona-Mania"
Cute cute cute cute but also classy as heck. What more can I say?

("Resonance" dress by Sandro)

Featured in season 3 episode 7; "CrAzy"
Pastel colours are my weakness, what can I say? Also I'm gonna steal that purple bag.

These outfits are just a small portion of Hanna's endless parade of fabulous, but you get the general idea of how amazing her closet is.

Uhh how creative we were with the headline of this post - don't cha think?!?
This weeks fashion friday is all about last weekends BAFTA's, and if there is something we three weird girls love; IT'S BRITISH FASHION!
So we are not gonna drag it out, but simply going to mention our BAFTA top 5 fashion choices and uhh there were many interesting fashion outfits.

* NOTE the top 5 are mentioned in a random order

5 Amy Adams
Amy looked rather serious throughout her entire red carpet performance, but her dress was really pretty anyways. The ensemble would have been perfect with some colorful jewelry, to take the seriousness out of her look, mainly because her hair looks really scraped back, black dress and a rather serious facial expression. But the dress on it's own has a beautiful cut and drapes her body perfectly.

4 Angelina Jolie
We don´t know if you remember or top flops post, from two weeks ago, where we hated Madonna´s little suite look at the Grammy's. No?!? Well Angelina Jolie rocked the suit outfit at this years BAFTA's. She looked like she just hosted an event and now when it was over she decided to open her shirt and untie her butterfly. Her flowy hair was really suitable for the look and in general she really rocked the grungy, suit and tie (or butterfly) look.

3 Naomie Harris
Colorful dresses with belts on the waist, was a popular fashion choice at this years BAFTA´s and another one who rocked it, was bond-babe Naomie Harris. The mixture of a dress and a suit was a rather grown up fashion choice, however the color managed to add some youthful playfulness to the look, which we really liked. Not to mention the deep plunge in the front, was really beautiful and made sure the dress did not drown her body completely.

2 Lupita Nyong'o
Can this woman not do anything wrong. She has been on our award top five list every single time and for our BAFTA list, she joins the top 5 once again. Lupita has shown us colorful dresses that match her skin tone, her body and the awards shows perfectly. It is nice to see a woman who is not afraid of wearing very colorful dresses. We are definitely going to keep a sharp eye on her future fashion choices.

1 Samantha Barks
Some might call her dress boring, we however call it stunning. The Les Miserables beauty looked absolutely royal, when she arrived in a nude, strapless dress. The amount of jewelry was just right, her hair and makeup was perfect and the nude color was the perfect shade of nude.

It´s SAGalicious

As mentioned in the previous Fashion Friday post, it´s award season, so you can expect A LOT of red-carpet fashion updates the next couple of fridays, ending the entire shindig with the 86th Academy Awards, aka the creme de la creme of red carpet fashion.
BUT enough about that, let´s talk about the latest red carpet event, the SAG awards, and for all you fancy people; the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Last weekend our three weird faces, were glued to the screen in order to capture the top 5 best SAG red carpet looks for you guys. So here´s our top 5:

5 Lupita Nyong'o
Once again this beauty landed on our list of the best dressed and her dress was stunning. The turquoise color against her skin tone was just fabulous and it fit her like a glove. The flower/butterfly detail on her neck, was a nice touch to her subtle dress and it gave it that funky note, that a SAG dress needs.

4 Emma Thompson
Okay, so it might not be the best look of the evening, however we do have to give her points for her certain style. A lot of actors, as they grow older, get more boring on the red carpets, but Emma is not only funny, but dresses fabulously for her age. Not to mention the ahh-mahh-zing Louboutin flats.

3 Amy Adams
So it´s not because we want to repeat the Golden Globe top five, but Amy Adams, has once again landed in our top five, and her dress was even more stunning, then her Golden Globe dress. Come on Gurl, stop being so fabulous!
The blue-ish purple color and the cuts of the dress, was just to die for, and together with the classic up do, I mean, not even the Fashion Police could hate that.

2 Mindy Kaling
She´s bootylicious, she´s hot hot!
OMG, we at Three Weird Girls LOOOOOOVE Mindy Kaling. The Mindy Project is our series marathon favorite. So of course she landed on our top 5, however our opinion about the dress is a bit mixed. On one hand, the dress looks really flattering on her fuller body, and trust us, WE KNOW! how hard it is to find a flattering dress, when you are a plus-size woman. The color was also amazing, however a bit boring. The SAG awards is all about being a little funky and wearing a bright colored dress, or if you go with a darker color, do as Emma T. and pick one with a funky print.

1 Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence disappointed us a bit at the Golden Globes, but the Dior dress she wore at the SAG awards, was SO beautiful. However we are still missing the time she rocked a red dress, big boobs and long locks at the Academy Awards - where have the curves disappeared to gurl?
It´s no surprise that Jennifer chose a Dior dress, who can forget last year when she tripped on the Oscar staircase whilst wearing one - NO ONE, because it was plastered all over 9gag, reddit, facebook, twitter...etc, you get the point.
The color of the dress is a very safe color, but the sequins added a colored effect (red, green and blue) that was so funky, amazing, wonderful and last but not least - to die for!
