So we thought we would sum up some of our favorite fashion statements of season one and two, just to point out to you guys - in case you have note seen Revenge - how amazing the outfits are.

Gluten- & Dairy Free Cheesecake

Posted by Unknown at Thursday, March 20, 2014 0 comments
Lately I have become obsessed with recipes that are gluten- and/or dairy free. It is important to remember that even though recipes are gluten or dairy free they are not always healthy, so I have been on a mission to find recipes that are gluten- and dairy free AND healthy.
Before starting this mission I thought that meant that all foods would be excluded, BUT a recipe book called LCHF: Eat yourself Full and Happy saved my life. LCHF (Low Carp High Fat) still has recipes with dairy, but instead I try to find other things, NOT dairy related to replace, which is actually really easy.

One of the recipes we want to share with you is a recipe for cheesecake...YES CHEESECAKE! The recipes contains a lot of nuts, and even though nuts contain a rather large amount of fat, most of the fat is not absorbed by your body. That means, you pretty much poop, yes poop, all that fat out again, but gain a lot of new energy.
This recipes is not from the book LCHF, but a video I found on Youtube. I tried it and it´s easy and delicious.

I have tried this recipes twice and both times they tasted delicious, and I also posted a picture of the result on my Instagram.
And for all the danes out there or people who know how to copy paste into google translate, the wonderfull author behind the book LCHF: Spis Dig Mæt og Glad also has a blog Madbanditten, with amazing recipes and a life without gluten.

Weight loss

Hi guys!
As I've been preaching about in previous posts, food is everything if you want to lose weight and gain muscles. If you are skinny from nature, of course, you still have to eat right, but getting fit will take a lot of weight lifting compared to if you need to lose weight AND gain muscles. Are you one of those people, like me, who need to lose weight just as much as you want muscles, here's a few good tips for you. I found this little drawing in Tumblr and really thought it brought out the most important matters of weight loss. Of course, it is easier said than done, but if you try really hard at one point results will be showing. You just really need to have patience.

Great alternatives if you're addicted to sugar:

- Raisins. Mix them with pieces of apple and you got yourself some good stuff.
- Apple with peanutbutter. Peanutbutter is not an unhealthy thing in my world, but remember to buy the organic one, it is much better!
- Figs and dates. Where I'm from you can buy these sticks where figs and dates are mixed together, so yummy!
- If you can't control yourself, eat a piece of gum. That way, you'll have something to chew on and if you decide to throw it out and eat the chocolate anyway, it will taste weird and ruin the entire experience! You can also brush your teeth in this situation.

Kesha Rose Reborn.

A few weeks ago, we wrote about how singer/songwriter Kesha had been admitted to rehab. And now it seems she's back and better than ever!

On January 3, 2014, it was announced that Kesha had checked into Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center, a rehab facility in LemontIllinois for eating disorder treatment. Following the announcement, TMZ revealed that Dr. Luke was allegedly to blame for her placement in treatment, asserting that Luke had "ragged" on her over the weight she had gained between her Get Sleazy Tour and her 2012 album Warrior and its preceding tour.
Kesha's mother Pebe Sebert confirmed in an interview that the eating disorder Kesha was suffering with is bulimia and that she had been struggling with it ever since she was signed. She also claimed that Dr. Luke was partly the reason behind the development of Kesha's eating disorder, saying that he had told her to lose weight after he signed her and allegedly compared the shape of her body to a refrigerator, which caused Kesha's disorder to worsen.

But it seems that Kesha is back on top, even changing her stage name from Ke$ha to her Kesha Rose. Possibly to separate herself from her toxic relationship with her old manager Dr. Luke. She has also announced new music on the way. As a fan of her demo's and unreleased music (like this beautiful song, really showing off her beautiful voice), I'm really looking forward to seeing what music she'll make when she is the one calling the shots.

The Wolf of Wall Street

So the last Best Picture nominees I watched before the show was The Wolf of Wall Street. Even though I had planned to watch more than last year, I only managed to get through 4 out of 10. So alas.

If you're not familiar with the plot of this movie, simply put it's about Jordan Belfort, and his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. And it's all based on a true story.
The real Jordan Belfort even makes a small
appearance in the movie.
This one was a bit of a challenge for me, because of the swearing and drugs as all that jazz. So my opinion of this movie might be somewhat biased because of that, so please take that into account.

With that said I think overall it was a good movie. It had entertaining values. But to be honest, it could have worked just fine if it had been 2 hours long, instead of 3. So much was just filler to prove a point. But again, this might just be me waiting most of the scenes with sex and drugs cut down. Because I think it was all a bit too much. Cut out half of those scenes, and the point about Jordan & Co partying like animals would still be made just fine. Maybe just one or two montages would have worked fine. Instead (as I remember it, it's been like a month since I saw it) we got like 4 different montages throughout the movie.
And honestly, I would have liked to have the whole deal how they earned their money explained a bit more detailed, because I'm still not even sure how they did it. It was basically a scam, but it's still a bit vague. Which is kinda the reason I wanted to see the movie in the first place (before it got nominated). Like I love stories about con artists and shit, so I was intrigued. But what I got was 3 hours of swearing and boobs and drugs. So again, that's just my personal standpoint. Maybe other people won't see those things so clearly as I do.

I'm gonna keep this short, so the last thing I'll say is that the movie does deliver wonderfully in the acting department. I especially enjoyed Jonah Hill's performance. I also got a little kick out of
Cristin Milioti's appearance. She is just so adorable, so even if we didn't really get to know her character, I still felt with her when Jordan was being an ass.
But yeah, as I said it was just a bit too long for me, and had some elements that made the experience a bit sour for me, but overall good movie.

And this concludes my Best Picture 2014 nominee round (or at least until I get finish school and get some time to watch the rest). So yeah. Go see it if you like extravagant and "loud" movies.
